Hawkman, seeking Hawkgirl

Oh man, you guys. At the comic shop the other day, I found a Hawkman figurine that was pretty cheap to begin with, and on top of that, half off. Now, maybe this isn't surprising to you. I don't really care. I do love him dearly. I know it's geek blasphemy to remove them from the packaging, but then, thanks to Debra's brash words (you're welcome), I realized that no one else was going to buy him so I may as well take him out and enjoy him. So now he has a place of glory on my desk, in front of my DVDs and random pictures. I thought I would share this with you guys. Now, I reaaaally really need a Hawkgirl to go next to him. Hopefully on the same scale. There's these creepy (in a good cute anime way) $60 Japanese action figures at the shop as well, and they have my two favorites (Hakwgirl and Zatanna) and Debra's two favorites (Poison Ivy and, who was it? Batgirl? I'm a bad friend... Huntress, though that Batgirl was Barbara Gordon so I like her too). But that won't do at all, Japanese Hawkgirl doesn't belong with good ol' Thenegarian Hawkman. Once I get the nerve to drop that much money on her, she will live in her own spot of glory. ;D

(and she makes fun of me for liking Ivy? Seriously.... he has a hawk mask, wings, a mace, green tights, and no shirt.)

I guess I'm just going to stare at him for a while. Do me a favor and tell Debra my obsession with the Hawks is no less creepy than her obsession with the Gotham Rouges gallery (can't forget Wally West obsessed with him!). At least mine has a penis. Well, one of them.

Also, happy Wednesday. Flash Rebirth #4 comes out today (and the art was amazing!!! though a whole lot of red and yellow--also Titans and Gotham City Sirens, oh and of course Blackest Night). Expect a review soon.
